Bechdel Test Fest Presents: Can I Touch It? + Special Guest Discussion
Every woman of colour has a story to tell about the hair on their head. The relationship black and brown women have with their hair goes deeper than the maintenance of their curls or kinks. This series of shorts, from women worldwide explored via animation, docs, poetry and dramatic narratives, articulates how hair is a vital part of black female identity, culture and experience.
